The Office of Vocations at the Archdiocese of Toronto is wrapping up a week of prayer for those discerning a call to vocation and they need your help. So many consecrated individuals and those who are determining whether they are called to a vocation would be grateful if you prayed for them.

The Office of Vocations is asking the faithful to pray for vocations in a special way through Sunday, April 25.

All your prayers would be most welcomed, but the Office of Vocations has suggested the following prayer:

O God, Who wills not the death of a sinner, but rather that he be converted and live, grant we beseech You through the intercession of the Blessed Mary, ever Virgin, Saint Joseph, her spouse, Saint Junipero Serra, and all the saints, an increase of labourers for your Church, fellow labourers with Christ to spend and consume themselves for souls, through the same Jesus Christ, Your Son, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen.

If you are discerning a vocation, please reach out to the Office of Vocation. Their staff would be happy to help guide you in your journey.

And if you are a lay person who is interested in doing more to promote vocations, joining a Serra club may be a great opportunity for you to give back to the Church. You can find more information on the Serra Canada website.
