Archbishop Leo Takes Part in Ecumenical Ceremony Dedicated to St. Gregory of Narek

On April 27, 2024, the Most Reverend Francis Leo, Archbishop of Toronto participated in an ecumenical ceremony dedicated to St. Gregory of Narek held at Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church of Toronto. Prayers were read by bishops and spiritual fathers of both churches in Armenian and English.

Archbishop Leo was joined by Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Canada, and the two of them co-presided over the service.

As a tribute to the memory of the martyrs of the Armenian Genocide, the participants of the ecumenical ceremony laid a wreath at the memorial monument on the territory of the church. At the end of the event, the anthems of Armenia and Canada were played.
